I hand-forged this knife from 1095 high carbon steel and fit with a stainless guard, pins, and lanyard hole and a dyed curly maple handle. I also hand-tooled the sheath which would hang on the left side of belt for cross-draw with right hand giving quick-draw action as consistent with fighting knives. Would also make an excellent camp knife.
