This dkd small axe is in our custom’frostbite’ design, it has been created by danny, including the carved/burned print in the handle and the custom leather has been handmade with veg tanned leather by beck. It is a wall piece, to get people talking, however the blade is sharp and usable, which is why it comes in a sheath to keep the blade edge safe. As there are no stencils and each item is handmade they are truly unique, no one will have exactly the same axe. This small frostbite axe is forged from 5160, the head has been styled into the frostbite style and aged through a few processes. The handle is ashwood and nice hardwood, which has a paw print on the handle, carved and burnt and the handle is finished with our twine wrap style. The custom veg tanned leather sheath has been created in the same style as the head. The handles are around 300mm-320mm long, for an idea of size. Note – as these are made to order, you can request another leather colour not listed, or a custom design on the handle, just send us through a message before you place the order and we can let you know if the colour is available or if there will be an additional charge for the design you are after.
