These are both world war 2 era lanterns, they have identical date stamps on the bottom of 1-11 which stands for november 1941. The bigger one is a 228b model “big hat”, with red letter pyrex globe. This one also has a u. Stamp on the bottom. The smaller one is a rare green painted model 242b (most were nickel plated), it has an unmarked glass globe. They have both been completely dismantled, cleaned, refurbished and polished each piece inside and out. I carefully polished the fount to preserve the patina of the brass showing through the green paint. They have both been pressure tested at all connections and test ran for over an hour. They both start easily, run bright and shut down properly. These two have the same birth date and they look so good together, i decided to list them together. This item is made of brass and metal, glass.
