This listing is for one campfire grill set. Your order will be made just for you after your order is placed. Skillets, dutch oven, spatula, spoon, percolator not included. This is a 21 piece set. 1- crossbar 1/2″ square bar 32″ long. 1- crossbar 1/2″ round bar 32″ long. 15- grates 3/8″ square bar 24″ long. 4- uprights with decorative twist 1/2 square bar approx 24 long. Imagine if you could bring your home stoves cook top with you camping. Well now you pretty much can. This huge campfire grill is the one i designed for my own use. For 3 seasons out of the year we mainly cook outside on the open fire to keep from warming the house too much and save on gas. I always seemed to run out of room though. When i designed this i wanted a cook surface close to the home stove so i could cook multiple things at once but i also wanted to be able to grill on it. The result is the paul bunyan stove. Measuring in at 24″ x 32″ this is definitely big enough for any camp cooking chore. Pairing this grill with the pot and pan rack listed above improves the versatility even more and keeps your spatulas and forks out of the dirt. From historical reenactments to cooking for the whole scout troop this will do it. The labor and resource cost on this grill is ridiculous but for something thatll be around for generations it’s worth it. To make one grill takes close to 50 feet of 3/8″ and 1/2″ square stock. My labor is close to 10 hours for one grill. This is not really a grill for cooking for one person. That one is listed here. It weighs in around 35 lbs. Its ideal for backyard grilling, groups where the weight can be split up, car camping, rv camping, horseback or atv camping. While it has a bit of weight it’s still easy to take down and set up. Campfire grills take camp cooking from being a chore to being a pleasure. They are quick and easy to set up and bring the grill to your campsite in a compact package. The heavy duty design and good sized cook surface will accommodate four 10 cast iron skillets easily. You can grill directly on the grates as well and since they are so thick they hold the heat and sear perfectly. Steak always tastes better with a nice smoky flavor from the campfire. This set is made right here in the north woods of wisconsin. Cook surface – approx 32″ x 24″. Cooking height- approx 18 down to whatever youd like depending on how deep the uprights are put in the soil. Step one- slide the 15 grates onto the round crossbar. Step two- stick all four uprights into the ground. Step three- place both crossbars on the hooks of the uprights. Step four- space the grates evenly and enjoy cooking. This set is the perfect gift for any outdoorsman on your list. Bushcrafting, camping, hiking, historical reenactors, theres nothing quite like have the right tool for the job and when the job is feeding a militia this is the ticket. Each piece is hand forged by me. This cowboy grill is heavy duty. Made from 3/8″ square bar and 1/2″ square bar. To start the process i cut the 15 grates to size then draw out the ends and bend them round. Next i cut the cross bars and heat them red then slightly round the edges to make them look a bit nicer. The uprights are next the ends get flattened to half their thickness then bent back on themselves. Following this i bend in the hooks, forge in the points on the ends, and add the twist. The final step is a good wire brushing and sealing. These are sealed with beeswax but should be wiped down after each use with olive oil or beeswax to prevent rust. While oakwood forge is a smaller shop i still do accept bulk and large quantity orders. I can make as many of any item listed as you need. As with all of my products these are made by hand so some slight variations to size, twist, color or finish are unavoidable these slight variations are unnoticeable once the product is installed. I use locally sourced raw beeswax straight from the hives of a local honey farm. This finish is food safe and non toxic. Before the finish is applied every item is given a heavy wire brushing then reheated to a black heat. Some scale may be present on unseen surfaces. This finish is intended for indoor use and may rust if left exposed to the elements. See the rest of my shop here. See the rest of the “bushcraft collection” here. This item is made of steel and bituminous coal, hammer, anvil, wrought iron, tongs, coal forge, twisting wrench, file, oil, mild steel, bees wax, fire.
