This is a rare vulcano brand single burner camp stove. It runs on alcohol. I had a hard time finding one like this, or much information about the date they were made, my guess is that is from the 1950’s or 1960’s. These alcohol stoves are great because they do not put off carbon dioxide when they burn and i have read that they are safe to use inside a tent or closed building because of that. I don’t necessarily recommend that as there is an open flame and it can still be a fire hazard. The stove is easy to light and has very few parts to break down, you basically turn the valve to let a little alcohol out, then shut the valve, light the puddle of alcohol to preheat the generator for a few minutes, then open the valve and it fires right up. You can adjust the flame from very low simmer to a high for a quick boil. Alcohol burns hotter than gas so water boils quickly. I heated up a little coffee to test it (the coffee pot in a couple pictures is not included). Alcohol fuel can be found at most hardware stores. This item is made of metal and brass.
