This outdoor knife was handmade from 1,4034 steel. This steel is not quite as hard and sleek as sb1, but it gets even sharper and is less sensitive. The blade was hardened to around 58 -60hrc (hardness to rockwell) and treated in-75c to be frozen. The shape of the blade is inspired by modern tanto knives, but they should not be confused with the historical daggers of the samurai, even if they use their names. The handle was covered with handle shells made of carbon fiber-reinforced plastic or cfrp from its own production. These were glued with 2k adhesive and stabilized with 2 v2a pins. In the end, a brass gasse is inserted for a loop or fangriemen. The handle trays are finely sanded and polished. The blade is polished and extremely sharply sanded. The rugged geometry and tough rust-free steel make it an excellent edc nife.
