This is a hand crafted woodsman axe. The axe head was crafted from high carbon steel, finished with a forced patina and a razor sharp edge. The handle was made from a solid piece of american hickory finished with a rich stain and waterproof poly. The head has been hammered into place, secured with triple apoxy and two steel pins. Wrapped with od green thread for grip. This rustic looking woodsman axe is an all around amazing weapon/tool. Perfect for any situation.
