These scales are a limited run as they take many hours to make and i’m limited on material. Brass threaded inserts now pre-installed (only installed on the right scale, message me if you would like the inserts on both sides, the left side, or none at all). These sleek carbon fiber scales bring a whole new look to the already amazing benchmade bugout, whilst keeping it lightweight and minimal. Improved rigidity and strength mean that these are the ideal upgrade to bring your knife to the next level. This item is proudly made in house then hand finished and quality checked before being sent out. The maple wood inserts are installed with epoxy resin and then hand sanded to be perfectly flush with the carbon fiber. This creates a great in-hand feel whilst keeping it lightweight and rigid. The wood sits 1mm into the carbon fiber keeping a strong backbone of carbon fiber across the knife. Each insert has a unique pattern and no set of scales will be alike. It uses all the hardware that comes with the bugout and nothing extra. Simply unscrew the old scales stick the new scales on and screw it back together.
